Course:
Our two day intensive Revision Course will focus on the following:
1. Trading through a company or as an unincorporated entity
- Use of trading losses
- Tax provisions relating to the transfers of businesses as going concerns from individuals to companies
- Optimum use of seed capital and Employment and Investment Incentive reliefs
- Corporation tax exemption for new start-up companies
- Extraction of profits from a business
- Use of pension contributions and termination payments as planning instruments
2. Acquisition, re-organisation and disposal of businesses
- Use of trading losses and charges (including in a group scenario)
- Tax relief on interest paid by companies
- Transfer of assets at tax written down value and company reorganisations
- Disposal of the business or assets of the business or shares in a company, including liquidation of companies
- Corporation Tax and CGT provisions relating to group transfers and transactions (including transfer pricing)
- Paper for paper transactions
- Exemption from tax in the case of gains on certain disposals of shares (participation exemption
- Stamp Duty / Stamp Duty Land Tax reliefs
- Revised Entrepreneurs’ Relief and Retirement relief
- Exemption from CGT on certain assets which are acquired between 7/12/2011 and 31/12/2014
3. The implications of business taxation decisions for taxation payable by the individual
4. The taxation implications of business decisions, including impact of fiduciary taxes, VAT, PAYE , USC, DWT, PSWT, RCT, etc.
5. The duties and obligations of the taxpayer in relation to Revenue audits and investigations
6. Reliefs available for expenditure of a capital or revenue nature in the context of capital allowances, R&D expenditure, intangible fixed assets and the Knowledge Development Box.

We will be running a two day intensive revision course on the following dates:
- Saturday, 29th June and Sunday, 30th June - 9.30am to 5.30pm - FULLY BOOKED
- Saturday, 13th July and Sunday, 14th July - 9.30am to 5.30pm - FULLY BOOKED
- Saturday, 27th July and Sunday, 28th July - 9.30am to 5.30pm
